About
Wilcox Architecture
Wilcox Architecture blends thoughtful, high-quality design with personalized attention to guide clients through every project phase, from site assessment to construction. Led by architect Tom Wilcox, the firm specializes in residential projects across greater Cincinnati, including neighborhoods like Amberley Village, Anderson, Blue Ash, Hyde Park, Indian Hill, Madeira, Mariemont, Montgomery, Mt. Lookout, Oakley, Prospect Hill, Terrace Park, Walnut Hills, Wyoming, and Northern Kentucky, as well as Northern Michigan. Tom's expertise includes new homes, additions, garages, renovations, kitchens, basements, porches, decks, and historic preservation.
Founded in 2001 on West Street in Mariemont, Wilcox Architecture relocated to Hyde Park in 2010. Before launching his own firm, Tom partnered with Dennis Malone in the firm Malone & Wilcox and worked with Reno F. Runck III, Architect in College Hill. Tom’s varied past work includes historic preservation, municipal projects, nursing homes, restaurants, railroad structures, and residential design.
With additional experience in construction and real estate, Tom was the general contractor for several early Wilcox Architecture projects and is a former licensed real estate agent. This hands-on experience has shaped his deep understanding of building construction and informed his ability to create builder-friendly construction drawings. Tom is also dedicated to the success of each project, regularly visiting job sites to ensure progress, learning from the tradespeople on-site, and refining his skills.
